Food City is literally in my back yard so convience is a BIG deal! However over the years me and my family have gotten to know the Food City family and just enjoy shopping there!! Really hope it dont move!!!
They have a nice selection. Offering local produce that's fresher than the competition. Good meats that also surpass other stores in the area. They always offer to help us out with our groceries and will even take you to the car with an umbrella in the rain. They offer curbside pick up if you want to order ahead and avoid going in the store.
I always have a pleasant experience at food city. They always have what I need and then some.
It is humiliating not only to me as a customer, but to the employees as well when a manager starts "disciplining and scolding" one of their employees in front of EVERYONE! The prices are expensive compared to other grocery stores in the area as well. For these reasons I refuse to go to any Food City because I have seen this behavior happen in three different Food City stores. Also it wouldn't hurt to allow your employees to have water at the register...it is much better than them coughing all over the over priced groceries. It is called being decent human beings and not torturing and humiliating your employees.
